With America’s great love for meat, it shouldn’t come as a surprise that more and more Brazilian steakhouses are becoming more and more popular over the years. Rodizio Grill is actually one of the first of its kind in the US, being established in 1995 by Ivan Utrera.
Born in Sao Paulo, Brazil, Utrera grew up dining in churrascarias and enjoying traditional Brazilian cuisine. Upon moving to the US, he wanted to share to the world this wonderful dining concept, so he opened Rodizio Grill. With the help of his culinary school teacher mother and a large portion of his family, he put together classic recipes and opened his restaurant’s door to hungry diners. Fast forward to more than two decades later and people today still enjoy this family affair of a restaurant.
One of the things that Rodizio’s is proud of is their authenticity. As it is created by a family of Brazilians, you can be sure that you’ll be served a great deal of traditional fare eaten back in Sao Paulo and its neighboring regions.
Like other churrascarias, Rodizio Grill serves a wide range of meats grilled to perfection. What makes it stand out, though, is that it has a much friendlier price. The environment is also much more laidback and casual, so you won’t feel intimidated and you can focus on downing heaps after heaps of meat servings as it is an all-you-can-eat restaurant anyway.
If you’re worried about not getting a balanced meal, fret not, as this diner also has a sumptuous vegetable feast ready for the taking. They’re unlimited as well, so you can easily load up on greens if you’re getting guilty on eating so much meat. They also offer a wide array of authentic Brazilian side dishes, so you’re definitely in for a great meal every time you visit Rodizio’s.
