With the help of his mother, a culinary school teacher, he joined together their beloved family recipes and developed new ones to use in the restaurant. To maintain the family cooking traditions, members of Ivan’s family regularly oversee projects or dish preparations in their locations.
His mother, for example, goes to the US every two years to provide guidance in the recipes’ executions. Also, his aunt has been baking dessert in their Salt Lake City location for eight years already.
With the amount of love poured into their business, it is not surprising that Rodizio Grill has received numerous awards, and has been featured in news outlets, like CBS News, USA Today, NBC News, and The Washington Post, among others.
Currently, they have properties in Colorado, Florida, Louisiana, Minnesota, Nebraska, New Jersey, Ohio, Pennsylvania, Tennessee, Texas, Utah, and Wisconsin.
