The restaurant has an interesting history. It was founded in Atlanta, Georgia in 1981, with the hope of providing the best steak in the area. Unfortunately, they didn’t receive a lot of guests for several months. When a strong snowstorm hit the city a year after, stranded motorists were drawn to dine at what was then called LongHorn Steaks Restaurant & Saloon.
They found it warm, hospitable, and with memorable grilled steaks. From then on, through word of mouth, the restaurant received hosts of loyal guests everyday. Now called LongHorn Steakhouse, owned and operated by Darden Restaurants, the company has developed other properties in Texas, Michigan, Puerto Rico, Saudi Arabia, Qatar, El Salvador, and Malaysia.
They strive to provide the best quality in everything that they do, from the restaurant decorations to what’s on the menu. Each steakhouse has a Texan or Western theme, where you can find photos, paintings, and Western memorabilia to make you feel you’re truly dining in the wild west.
